5 QUICK CLEANING TIPS USING SALT TO CLEAN YOUR HOME?
There are hundreds of ways to use natural products like salt to keep you home clean.  Try these five below.
To avoid salty results, first test cleaning tips in an unobtrusive spot, and when they prove effective tackle your
whole task.

1. Get your cutting boards clean and stain free by sprinkling coarse salt on top, and scrubbing using a cut up
lemon as a scrub brush.
2. Remove the dust off of silk flowers by filling a paper bag with a cup of salt, placing the flower in the bag and
shaking.
3. A mixture of lemon juice and salt can be a tough acting cleanser for removing rust stains from porcelain
surfaces like sinks, toilets, tubs, etc.
4. Use equal parts vinegar and salt to clean copper pots and brass.
5. Keep a bowl of salt inside your boat or RV in the off season to absorb excess moisture in the air.

GOT BUGS?
Place a clove of garlic in the corners of your kitchen to avert ants.

PET HAIR?
Place a rubber glove on your hand and run it across a pet-hair riddled area.  The glove will act like a lint
remover.

GARBAGE DISPOSAL?
If your garbage disposal is not smelling so sweet anymore, or is getting clogged with small items, throw a
few ice cubes in and run it, to return its freshness.
